ABOUT & HOW TO PLAY
Make something together.
DoodleRoulette is a collaborative drawing space for adults aged 18 and older. Start with a blank canvas and a few people, then find out what happens when different ideas meet. You do not need to be an experienced artist or create an account to draw.
Free Draw: one canvas, many ideas
Choose Free Draw, then Start a studio to invite friends, Join friends to enter a studio code, or Matchmaking to meet other artists. Everyone draws on the same canvas, and the chat lets you agree on a subject or ask for space before changing someone else’s work.
Use Pen for lines and shading, Fill for areas of color, and Text for lettering. The Select tool lets you move and resize editable strokes and text. Undo and Redo help you experiment. Start with broad shapes, leave room for another artist’s additions, and use a few shared colors to bring the composition together.
Game Mode: assemble a surprise scene
- Choose a phrase together. The group votes on the scene for the round.
- Draw your assigned part. Each player receives a subject, such as a dragon. Your drawing stays hidden from the other players until the reveal.
- Arrange the scene. Move and resize your whole contribution after everyone’s drawings are revealed. Keep the main subjects readable and leave space between them.
- Choose how to finish. Vote on imagination strength. Choosing 0% keeps the assembled drawing without an AI request.
Try drawing the subject as a simple silhouette first, then add one distinctive feature. A clear pose or expression often contributes more to the shared scene than lots of tiny detail.
Drawing comes first
Drawing and chat do not require watching or clicking an advertisement. Live rewarded ads are currently unavailable, so ad-required AI generation is unavailable too. You can still create artwork together and choose 0% imagination in Game Mode.
When rewarded generation becomes available, you can choose whether to watch the ad described for that image. A completed reward authorizes one new generation; closing before the reward does not. Successful approved images join the canvas automatically. Refine starts a new image from a selected previous result and requires its own authorization.
A considerate place to create
Keep drawings, names, prompts, and chat kind and appropriate. Do not post sexual content, hate, harassment, graphic violence, or someone else’s private information. Being an adults-only service does not make prohibited content acceptable.
Use the participant menu to report a user, or open an image from the room reel to report that artwork. Reports go to moderation; avoid retaliating in the studio. Read the Rules before joining.
Your creations and choices
Eligible Free Draw contributions may be included in reviewed datasets used or licensed for AI training and evaluation. Open Account → Preferences to change the Include my eligible creations in datasets switch. A saved opt-out remains in effect. This setting is separate from advertising consent.
The Privacy Statement explains saved information and dataset exports. The Terms of Service describe rights and participation. Guest choices depend on access to that guest session; contact us if you need help.
